Everything you need to plan delivery routes

Six core tools included on the free plan. No feature walls, no surprise limits.

Import from Excel or CSV

Drop in your spreadsheet and Drivant auto-detects address columns, customer names, and stop details. No reformatting. Supports .xlsx, .xls, and .csv files.

Auto Route Builder

Assign stops to routes automatically using geographic clustering. Set depot location, max stops per route, and let the builder sequence everything. Available on Standard and above. Read our multi-stop route planning guide to see how teams use it day-to-day.

Interactive Map Visualization

See every route rendered on a full Mapbox map with color-coded lines, numbered stop markers, and depot pins. Click any stop to see its details. Zoom, pan, and inspect your routes visually.

CSV Export

Export your planned routes to CSV with stop sequence, addresses, customer info, and ETAs. Hand route sheets to drivers or load them into other systems. Free plan includes CSV and .dvnt format. For live dispatch, driver app, and proof-of-delivery, pair Drivant with Fleetfully TMS.

Address Geocoding

Paste in street addresses and Drivant geocodes them automatically using a multi-provider cascade (Mapbox, HERE, Nominatim). Get accurate lat/lng coordinates without manual lookups.

.dvnt Save Format

Save your project in Drivant's native binary format. Compressed to roughly 10% of raw file size, your routes, stops, and geometry are preserved for later editing. Reopen and keep planning.

Three steps to planned routes

From raw addresses to optimized, exportable routes in minutes.

1

Import

Upload an Excel or CSV file with your stop addresses. The import wizard auto-detects columns and maps them to Drivant fields. You can also type or paste addresses manually.

2

Plan

Arrange stops into routes on the interactive map. Drag to reorder, split or merge routes, and calculate real driving directions with distance and time estimates via OSRM.

3

Export

Download your planned routes as a CSV route sheet with stop sequence, addresses, and ETAs. Hand it to drivers, print it, or save your project in .dvnt format to continue later. Small teams often pair this with our 15-minute morning routine.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Drivant's free route planner.

Is Drivant really free?

Yes. The Free plan is free forever with no credit card required. You get 1 project with up to 3 routes and 100 stops per route, OSRM driving directions, CSV and .dvnt export, and full access to the desktop app. There is no trial period and no expiration.

What is the difference between the Free and paid plans?

The Free plan includes 100 stops per route, 3 routes, 1 project, OSRM routing, and CSV/.dvnt export. Standard ($29/mo) adds the Route Builder, Excel export, 150 stops, 15 routes, and 25 projects. Pro ($79/mo) removes all limits and adds HERE truck routing, schedule optimization, satellite view, GPX/KML/GeoJSON export, encrypted export, and cloud access from any browser.

Can I import my stops from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Drivant accepts Excel (.xlsx, .xls) and CSV files. The import wizard auto-detects address columns, customer names, and other fields. You can also import GPX, KML, and GeoJSON files for route data from GPS devices or other mapping tools.

How many stops can I plan on the Free plan?

The Free plan supports up to 100 stops per route and 3 routes per project. That is 300 total stops across all routes in a single project. If you need more, the Standard plan supports 150 stops per route and 15 routes per project.

Does the free route planner calculate real road directions?

Yes. The Free plan uses OSRM (Open Source Routing Machine) to calculate actual driving directions along real roads, including turn-by-turn geometry, distance, and estimated drive time for every route. Pro adds HERE truck routing with vehicle dimensions and traffic data.

Can I use Drivant on my phone or tablet?

The Drivant desktop app runs on macOS and Windows. The web app (available on Pro and above) works in any modern browser, including mobile browsers, but is optimized for desktop-sized screens for the best route planning experience.
